Today we open our call for Black queer artists of all mediums for the sixth edition of our summer residency, under the theme of Audacity in collaboration with @jeanpaulgaultier
Hosted in the quiet, isolated hills of Matarraña, Spain, the residency takes place in a house built on non-hierarchy, where each room exists equally, without fixed function.Over two weeks, this will be a space to unplug, to rest, to exchange, and to reflect on audacity as a practice of commitment. A trust in process, in community, and in the worthiness of our wildest dreams.
Residency dates : July 5–19, 2026
From this open call, three artists will be selected for a fully supported two-week residency.
Applications close May 22

Officially ending this summer on a note of gratitude.
Not much to say because @tmagazine@nytstyle & @lauramaytodd said it all in this beautiful write up. It has always been about this, about creating spaces for us to thrive, create and regenerate and I’m eternally grateful for the people that continue to help us make this happen. @villalena
A huge cheers to the team behind me without whom we wouldn’t have gotten where we are today without your constant trust and support @walterdaprile@edswindow ; a big show of gratitude to my love @museummammy for always seeing me and pouring into me so generously and to @tamumcpherson for everything . More than anything I am thankful to the incredibly talented artists who allowed us to be a part of your journeys @camillegbacon@ms.ztye@alitheway , and to those who took the time to see us and believe in the work we do @ashasalimm@nazarenopocapaglia & especially @vittoriapietropoli (ILYSM) . Do take the time and have a proper read through when you can. ❤️🫶🏾

For the latest issue of @stylemagazineitalia , I ask the pressing question, what exactly does it mean to be sexy today?
From the hyper-defined ideals of the late 90s and early 2000s to the more experimental, coded aesthetics of the 2010s, fashion has long shaped how we understand desire. Designers like @alessandro_michele and @demna complicated the narrative, while Calvin Klein once distilled it into something instantly recognizable.
Today, that clarity feels fractured. Brands no longer define sexiness in the same way, they reflect a culture that has already moved beyond a single point of view.
So where does that leave us. If fashion is no longer setting the terms, who decides what sexy actually means now???
