In Tagalog, “ingat” means “take care” — but it’s also one of the ways we say I love you. Not dramatic, nor loud. Just: be safe, be well. It’s what our parents say when we leave the house. What we text our friends after hanging out. What we whisper at the end of a phone call. I’ve always loved that care is how we express love. That protection, gentleness, and attention to one another are folded into such a simple word. Today I’m thinking about love not just as romance, but as care. As checking in. As walking each other home. As tending to ourselves the way we tend to the people we love. Happy Valentines and ingat palagi (take care, always) 💌

If you’d like to book or learn more about ceremonial/intuitive customs, send me a DM !! —— Yesterday marked the Autumn Equinox, the end of eclipse season, and a new moon in Virgo — a potent convergence of cycles. With so much happening astrologically, I sat in meditation and asked myself what I needed to hear. These symbols are what arose. Lately, I’ve been holding the weight of the world — mourning the way history is distorted, watching Amerikkka mourn and idolize a nazi, while silence around ongoing genocides in Gaza, Sudan, Congo, and beyond, but also witnessing revolution and resistance rising in places like Nepal, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It gives me hope that we don’t have to settle for crumbs from oppressors, that true safety, health, and joy can belong to everyone. Still, I return to these questions: how do we keep living when the world feels like it’s on fire? How do we alchemize that fire into action, without turning the hurt of the world into hurt within ourselves? For me, these designs carry those answers — reminders of clarity, balance, courage, love, and release. If one of these symbols speaks to you, maybe it’s also what you need right now ✨💖✨
