Last year, NAFCON activated the Bayanihan Disaster Response to provide immediate support for communities impacted by the various natural disasters. In addition to the generous donations our communities fundraised for our kababayan, a cohort was sent this past December 2025 to provide people to people assistance and learn about the experiences of the people.
Join NAFCON and Migrante USA for a sharing on the Bayanihan efforts conducted this past December! The cohort will be sharing about the

⛑️ Impacts on community health and environment
Together, let's discuss how we can continue to advocate and take action with our kababayan for their rights and welfare.
Here's a brief situationer written by members of our organizations who have been meeting with and assessing the needs of affected farmers and communities in the North Shore.
Here is an update on how much we have collectively raised for storm victims and where we plan to donate the funds!
Please continue to support all the individuals and communities who are working tirelessly to provide real, on-the-ground support to the people most impacted by the floods across Hawaiʻi.

Our community came together in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 1 for an afternoon of stories, art, and dialogue reflecting on the 2025 NAFCON Medical Mission. Hosted by Siklab and @anakbayanla participants shared powerful firsthand accounts from flood- and typhoon-impacted communities, uplifting how government neglect and corruption continue to shape our kababayan’s health and living conditions.
Through photos, videos, and conversation, we traced the connections between these realities and forced migration—examining why so many Filipinos are pushed to leave home, and how those of us in the U.S. can stand in solidarity. At the same time, we celebrated the resilience of communities in the Philippines that continue to organize, care for one another, and rise together.
From healthcare workers to artists, everyone played a role in this collective effort—and together, we reached our fundraising goal for disaster relief. @nafconsocal 's Bayanihan Disaster Relief fundraiser is ongoing, so if you weren’t able to make it—and still want to be part of this work—you can support at bayanihanresponse.org
Maraming salamat to everyone who showed up, listened, shared, and continues to stay connected to the struggles and strength of our community—even from an ocean away. 🇵🇭✨

PEOPLE’S VICTORY! KUYA GREGGY WALKS FREE!
On February 13th, the Habeas Petition for Kuya Greggy (Kuya G) was granted, initiating his immediate release from the Northwest Detention Center! The Tanggol Migrante Movement celebrates this major victory, which would have not been possible without the strength of the people.
As we celebrate today, we will never forget the Philippine government, through staff like Assistance to Nationals Officer Bernice Santayana, failed to genuinely advocate for his well-being and even cooperated with ICE and Geo Group to expedite his deportation.
The Tanggol Migrante Movement is resolved to continue the fight for our detained migrants and other Filipinos in crisis and advance our demands
for ATN Officer Bernice Santayana to resign. We must expand our movement to hold every department and government official accountable for their criminal neglect of the people’s health and wellbeing.
💙 Justice for Kaizann! 💙
Join us in planning the community mobilization to the Hollywood Courthouse and learn more about the campaign!
Kaizann is a 43-year-old Filipino American and Long Beach resident living with schizophrenia who experienced police brutality and was unjustly arrested on August 21, 2025. Instead of providing him the care he needs, and was receiving in his ODR program, he is now incarcerated and experiencing severe medical neglect.
Join Kaizann’s family & the growing community of his supporters in demanding Justice for Kaizann!
