This Saturday 4-6pm @hellomalk returns to @great_circles_grcr providing a 2 hour slice of the Japanese wave of idm, house, and some other headier sides of dance music from the 90s until today.
We were going to do this theme when we were close to getting towards a similar release we’ve had in the pipeline for a while…but we’ve seen a lot of people online talking about the wave and decided we should get ahead of ourselves!
Expect to hear choice tracks from Sublime Records, Shinichiro and Susumu Yokota, as well as some of the newer artists working in the same tradition.
