We didn’t want to throw up another post to keep up with the IG algorithm. We lost sight of the authenticity that made us so special to begin with over 6 years ago. We deleted old posts that didn’t feel genuine. We told stories from female business owners, only to see some of their small businesses close due to money, restriction and lack of resources. We also had to shift internally and seek other forms of revenue for our own daily lives.
However, we don’t want to give up on the dream of being a platform dedicated to plant wellness and sustainability and sharing your story. We were and are early adopters and advocates of hemp, a plant that could feed you, clothe you, house you, beautify you and heal you. And we wanted to make hemp and sustainability cool. We know the masses will eventually catch on.
It’s ok to take pause, for the greater good of your brand. We will come back, renewed, restored and ready to go. We hope to see change in 2024 and beyond around consumers asking for sustainable companies and retailers carrying their products.
We were the first to have a CBD & hemp pop-up, the first to publish a lifestyle magazine dedicated to Hemp & Cannabis, the first to create a B2C & B2B event called “Hempana” from Los Angeles to Miami, the first to market 70% female owned Hemp & CBD Brands in our ecommerce shop, the first to create a curated Hemp & CBD box featured as Forbes best “wellness” gifts for women and so many other accomplishments.
We’re not going anywhere, we’re just on #pause and we hope you will continue to support us as you have all of these years. In the meantime, you can read the hundreds of articles on our site of female founders in cannabis, hemp and sustainability along with articles centered around our own wellbeing for humans, pets and the planet.
