Starting 13 June, our Introduction to Natural Dyeing invites you into 10 hours of immersive, hands-on learning across two Saturdays—exploring plant-based colour, process, and sustainable textile practice.
But why natural dyeing?
The reality is:
⚠️ Textile dyeing is responsible for up to 20% of global water pollution
⚠️ Up to 15–20% of dyes don’t bind to fabric, ending up in waterways
⚠️ Dye wastewater can contain heavy metals, formaldehyde, acids and toxic chemicals that harm ecosystems and human health
This course is your introduction to an alternative. Working with natural materials, slower processes, and a more conscious approach to colour.
