Each issue of AnOther Magazine, we invite a cultural luminary to guest-edit Document, our literary section. Past editors include Wim Wenders, Luca Guadagnino, Björk, Ocean Vuong, Kim Gordon and Tilda Swinton.

Speaking to AnOther Magazine, Hoss describes how the cemetery in Berlin inspires her life and work. “It’s like being among the dead and the living, and not in a grandiose or oppressive way, which is beautiful,” she says. “I think that’s why everyone goes there again and again, and you often see the same faces.”

AnOther Thing I Wanted to Tell You … has opened the magazine since the very beginning. This year marks 25 years of AnOther – and 25 years of the portrait portfolio.
Each issue, our subjects share a ‘thing’ that shaped them – a person, project or place. From ABBA to Stephen King’s Carrie, no two are alike. To mark the anniversary, the section receives its own cover for the first time, photographed and collaged by Mark Peckmezian, who serves as the creative force behind this new portfolio of talents.
