Something I wasn’t brave enough or ready to say out loud, in my acceptance speech when I got my BIFA for breakthrough performance was that this award is 100% for my mum! I know this was all you and I know you danced with me, screamed with me and cried with me when they called my name. Sometimes life isn’t fair when it takes people away from us but my God did my mum make her presence known in only a way my mum could! Go big or go home boi. Thank you mumsy. I love you and miss you every single day 🤍🙏🏾❤️

Joyful community is an act of resistance. And in the BFF’s fifth year, we are leaning into it fully🍀
We were honoured to gather with the remarkable @ebeleokobi@susanchardy and an intimate circle of visionary women, committed to collective action, solidarity, and dreaming a world that is free and affirming for all. Shared between us, the abiding conviction that Black feminist movements deserve to be resourced at the scale of their vision.

Spirit Independent Film Awards 2026 ✨We didn’t take home the trophy for Best International Feature but what an honour to be nominated. So proud of all of us for pouring so much into this project. Thank you @filmindependent for the recognition. The Zambian girls reunion to celebrate us was da one ❤️🇿🇲
Thank God for @seanharrismakeup for his magic! Jet lag where ?! 🫶🏾
I just want to say thank you to everyone who went to see our Zambian film and truly embraced it. This project will forever be the closest to my heart, for so many reasons. When you create, you never know how the work will be received — but you all completely blew me away.
I closed out 2025 with deep gratitude and immense national pride. Looking back at how this film has travelled the world since its Cannes premiere — the incredible journey it has taken, and continues to take — is truly humbling.
We say🇿🇲 “Zambia ku chalo” — “Zambia to the world” — and the world truly received us. Thank you. May there be less need for guinea fowl alerts in the future🙏🏾❤️
Thanks to everyone who sent me these or tagged me 🤗 Bring on 2026 👩🏾🍳

Happy anniversary mom amour. 8 years of being married to you and being loved by you the way I would want to be loved. I thank God always, for making us meet, for our little Stoney and for all he has done for us so far ❤️🙏🏾 Here’s to more years of you looking at me like this 🙊 …. I was so nervous to sing as it was the first time J and every one apart from my dad, had heard me sing but when I looked up and saw his face, the nerves simmered down 🥰

20 years ago I was the @wimbledon junior champion and it was the beginning of an amazing journey. Thank you Wimbledon for giving me the chance to compete in this year’s invitational. It’s always special and a great privilege. I feel so lucky to be able to share these moments with my friends, my wife @susanchardy and importantly, our son.
