@craig__anderson is a future hall of famer, and now he’s fighting to protect some of the best waves in Australia for future generations. Ando’s visited the sickest spots on the planet, so to hear the way he speaks about the Great Australian Bight makes it clear how special this place really is. Do what the man says and sign the petition to protect this epic coastline forever. Link in bio. ------------- Special thanks to @tygelanda , @fox_in_socks , @sealionsfilm , @greatsouthernreef , @greataustralianbightalliance for the footage and @hassan_parklands for the edit 🤙

@surfersforclimate ambassador @snappytoes joins @pmalinauskasmp , and the message is clear. We’ve come this far because people showed up. We’ve already seen Big Oil back down once. Now we’re on the edge of something bigger: locking in World Heritage protection for the Nullarbor and Great Australian Bight, permanently. But it doesn’t happen without you. This is the moment to keep pushing. To make sure leaders follow through on what over 80% of South Australians are already calling for, protection over risky drilling. Because the Bight isn’t just a place. It’s a global treasure. A wild, living ocean that can’t be replaced. This is the Final Fight. Let’s finish what we started. We need to protect wild waves forever, starting with Scott Reef. @surfersforclimate is asking surfers from around the world to help save a patch of reef with world class waves before Woodside pushes ahead and turns this patch of reef into an industrial gas drilling nightmare. There aren’t many wild waves left, so let’s protect this one before it’s gone. Huge thanks to @le_mofty for the footage and story and @johnnyabegg for the sick edit 🤙 There’s a link in the bio for Surfers for Climate if you want to support the campaign. #wildwavesforever #savescottreef #scottreef

Some good news to get you stoked! Solar power is going through the roof 😁 Another record breaking month, mostly thanks to the government rebate on batteries driving people’s froth for a discount and lower bills (oh and the environment too). Regardless of the motivation, every new system means less CO2 entering the atmosphere which is good news for a warming ocean. Power on Australia. 📸 @sa_rips 💙

Thanks to our mates at @polestarcars , everyone who played in our first ever charity golf day for the ocean had a chance of driving home in a brand new Polestar 4 (aka Polestar Fore!) Did anyone hit a hole-in-one to win it? You’ll have to watch to find out.

happy 100th birthday to indisputably one of the most impactful humans of all time 🍃🐢🌍 Sir David Attenborough for 100 years has allowed humans to fall back in love with the natural world in a time where we have continually become disconnected, inspiring generations of humans to take action an incredible legacy, without his documentaries who knows what state the planet would be in - how lucky are we to be alive at the same time as this incredible human. feel extremely grateful to have played a small part in the release of his last film OCEAN and be able to help inspire the next gen to appreciate and learn about their role protecting our natural world 🎥 across Tuvalu, Samoa and Australia

Today, we celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, and mark one year since the release of OCEAN, a project he considers one of his most important yet. Sir David has been on our screens since 1954, a constant voice of wonder, joy, and awe for life on this pale blue dot we all call home. He has narrated a planet in transformation, from its wild abundance to the critical challenges we face today. He hasn’t just documented nature. He has taken us into the field with him so we can feel it. In OCEAN with David Attenborough, he shows us that a lifetime is long enough to witness profound loss, but also long enough to help bring the ocean back to life. In fact, effective protection can revive marine life in as little as five years. Comment OCEAN to explore the real-world impact the film has made since its release.

There was an update this week on EV tax policy that is important to digest if you want to get off diesel and avoid fuel spikes. Also, not all EV’s are equal… check out @polestarcars if you’re chasing a ride that helps you achieve your daily missions, without the emissions 🤙

Last month on Earth Day, 88 hackers, swingers, ocean lovers (and even a few Roosters) tee’d off at The Coast golf club for our first ever Between The Flags golf day for the ocean. The location was epic, the rain held off, and the carts were chockas with Better Beer and Bourke St Bakery goodies, so everyone got off to the perfect start. In between the putting and longest drive comps, a Polestar 4 sat gleaming on the eighth tee as the hole-in-one prize. Sadly, no one drove away in it, but everyone went home with a prize and a grin. Every dollar raised on the day, which was a bit over $10k, goes directly to maintaining a thriving ocean, so a massive thank you to everyone who played, spent big at the auction, and chipped in behind the scenes.See you next year!
