P2PEEP with NOA DEANE - one of the most technical, tenacious and hard working surfers on earth. P2PEEP is a new interview style video segment we want to do every month or two focussed on different wave riders, musicians and artists within the wider industry. The series will be in collaboration with @bette_smidler a fiercely talented filmmaker / editor with a real knack for telling a compelling story. Filmed by @tygelanda with additional cle from a variety of filmers all credited in the clip. Logo by @kai_mckenzie
@craig__anderson is a future hall of famer, and now he’s fighting to protect some of the best waves in Australia for future generations.
Ando’s visited the sickest spots on the planet, so to hear the way he speaks about the Great Australian Bight makes it clear how special this place really is.

Good slab surfing with Novy and Griz. They've always had the right approach - using arms and legs, torso, core strength, hips, fingers, elbows and toes... to 'talk' to the wave you need to use all these biomechanical elements. If the wave talks to you first or too much, you might end up getting blasted. Be first to start to conversation, assertive and confident.. wait for response and listen then reply. This analogy works.
14 year old cle of Dion and Noa for @captainfinco these two riders have a real X factor in the water, pretty much every wave is a clip in some sense , or every wave they catch has something beautiful to capture. @dionagius put a lot of time and trust into me in my early years and encouraged me to keep shooting tight and back myself. @ilovetables always surfs for hours and holds you to a really high standard as a filmer. Both leaders in their own right.
An excerpt from a shoot I did for short film HIRUAERAK written and directed by @barolee_ a story about the hardship of transitioning from womanhood to motherhood in a new country. Baro Lee is a Korean / Australia writer and director and was really good to work with, he had a vision for this shoot we did in a blacked out pool with lots of light from above and I was proud to be a part of such a meaningful short that was ver close to his heart.
I love shooting bodyboarding as much as surfing (maybe even more) so when I met @chug_bingus69 through @mollusksurfshop and we shot on this @ryanlovelace rabbits foot I fell in love. The rabbits foot is a finless short board with an asymmetrical tail. The stylistic approach and low center of gravity of the rider to make the rabbits foot work, it was a hybrid of trad prone and fibre stick, that was my take anyway. Sometimes we create our own perception of things, which is a cool thing to practise. What you want is typically what you'll find. This would be considered a reverse out of the bowl on a boog, so I guess it's the same for a rabbits foot.
If I could go back and ride this wave again, I’d definitely do a few things differently, but you only get one crack at moments like that.
Same thing with protecting this epic bit of coastline.
Right now, there’s a rare opportunity to preserve the Great Australian Bight forever.
