Five cuts from five records being brought along by Bristol’s very own @roundsound tomorrow.

A classic of Dutch Trance-house; The Soundlords ‘Off The Wall (Soft Mix)’ is a deserved never-leave-the bag type of record, perfect to deploy in those euphoric golden-hour moments. Pan-flutes, nu-age synth hooks and sparse minimal percussion, allow space for your mind to be free through the rhythm.
A mainstay of the UK progressive house / techno scene, The Grid, represent their sound to-a-tee in ‘Crystal Clear (456 Mix)’. Delivering winding progressive acid explorations, to-boot with a groovy bassline to remind you’re here to dance, along with some mild hysteria & introspection, to remind you of your insignificance in this cosmic play.
2000s deep-house aficionado’s may look no further than ‘Sunset Fever’ from St. Petersburg’s AN-2. This song pours with summer-energy, championing acid funk, with drums that are full of swing and beautifully arranged chords, along with distant vocal and ocean wave samples, diversifying the palette ever further.
Carrying on with that summery-edge with some UK garage-house goodness from Industry Standard, track titled ‘LGC - Music (Industry Standard Mix)’. A bubbling vocal-sampling masterclass, complete with discrete percussive elements & chords, creating a perfectly-weighted groove.
Lastly, a luscious broken-beat future Jazz / downtempo house fusion from Martinez with the track ‘Autumn Jazz (Theme)’. A wonderful synergy is created as pockets of daydreamy bossa-inspired pan-flute sections work effortlessly with astral-travelling synths, amongst a plethora of other warm sounds going on.

@higher.intelligence.agency - Juju Love EP:
A wonderfully conceived re-press / re-issue on headphone compiling three tracks that are close to the hearts of HIA followers. The track above ‘Speedlearn (Frontal Lobe)’ is a hedonistic ambient techno classic that induces a reposed reality and gives life to the fantastical.
4:32am - Dream Flight:
3 wonderfully crafted deep-set mellow mind-melters from @four32.am mastered by @a_tom_gillieron . ‘Soft August Rain Ft. Pete Mitchell’ captures universal radiance and positive energy with pure blissed-out acid ambient house / techno groove. Second clip / track ‘Mittoo Palms’ see’s cascading deep-techno encapsulating the whole theme of the release to a tee.
A.J. Sound – The Block E.P:
A repress of a beloved techno record from John Kennedy & Arthur Smith (@artwork_is_up_to_something ) on Decoy Records. Deep-space tribal rhythms open your senses and unfold your inner-mind on the hypnotic ‘Basemental’ track featured above.
Convextion - Torc:
3 choice Techno / Electro cuts from Gerard Hanson on Syncrohone Recordings. If you’re a fan of swampy grit and inner-city introspective energy, raw bass-lines and entity-communicational frequencies, you may look no further. Track featured is ‘Torc (E.R.P. Version)’. In the second clip, the title ‘Torc’ brings melting acidic techno to the forefront.
Big Sam Presents the Coastal Commission and Teflon Dons - The Rendezvous (Repress):
Words by @alyxdowney ;
‘Excellent deep techy west coast house trax, originally released in 2001, and a much in demand rarity, gets repressed for the discerning vinyl digger of 2025. Teflon Dons drop a moody hard edged tracky number, whilst the Coastal Commission deliver a deeper dub-flecked and breakbeat-enhanced house workout with ambient chords and thought provoking cosmic poetry to seal the deal. Sheer class from start to finish.’
5 tracks from 5 records we’ll be selling next Saturday at @surface___area record fair at @sugarloafeaston_ . ⏩Swipe for clips⏩
Galaxy 2 Galaxy - Galaxy 2 Galaxy:
Here ‘Rhythm of Infinity’ is played at 33RPM to induce a state of spaced-out chugging tribal hypnosis.
Odopt – Wired:
‘Shine’ taken from the second @clubblanco release; weaves in tinges of acid alongside hypnotic percussion that locks you in a trance, elevated by airy sound design and a killer vocal hook.
Sundowners - Tribal Journey:
‘Mourning a Dream’ is the better-known track on this release but ‘Santero’ deserves some spotlight as a wiggy ceremonial-grade banger.
Secret Knowledge - Mojo Remixes:
‘Stained Trees Dub’ a brooding percussive melody, bubbling with sub-bass and dubbed-out echoes that wrap around the rhythm, before captivating synthwork takes you for a plunge in the deep-end.
Kasper Marott - Fantasy LP:
‘Forevigt’ pulses with a driving, shuddering groove and deep bass, while spacey percussion creates room for the elements to breathe and flow.

Patch Notes;
KT, London-based, Northern crate navigator and Space Dust resident, has been orbiting the scene for over a decade. Her deck alchemy and interstellar track selections have secured her on major lineups like Glastonbury’s Silver Hayes, Junction 2, Fabric, and FUSE. Beyond the festival realms, she has transmitted sonic waves across Central and South America, and key cosmic hubs including Paris, Berlin, Morocco, Milan, Lisbon, and New York.
Update includes: Expanded sonic library featuring rare 90’s house frequencies, psychedelic groove harmonics, acid modulations, and wonky techno oscillations. Enhanced energy algorithms with undiscovered gem protocols ensure each set delivers maximum impact. Notably, KT’s standout performances at Alien Communications events have been upgraded to an official residency on Space Dust.
Prepare for dynamic, vinyl-fueled experiences from this UK-based sound explorer.
