I was invited by @videodesignernyc to project content on the MIT Chappel and Music Building for Artfinity 2025 by @artsatmit
I have always wanted to draw on buildings with light. I made use of @dotsimulate wonderful #streamdiffusion node on @touchdesigner to make this public installation that allows people to draw organic shapes. I fed it words relating to research my friends at MIT are working on.

There are systems within us that we donāt feel, see, touch, or recognize moment to moment, but they are the systems that define so much in our lives ā how we think, analyze, move, and remember. Undulation is inspired by these invisible frequencies within us, the repetitive and reliable currents that move us through the world.

What Is Your Light was an interactive musical performance that transformed the MIT Chapel into a stage for four vibraphone players. The chapelās cylindrical structure was projection-mapped to create the illusion of arches carved into its walls. I designed the visuals in Unreal Engine as a real-time, interactive system that responded live to both the music and audience participation. Each time a visitor struck the tam-tam, a lantern appeared within the projections. Over the course of the evening, the visuals slowly evolved, shifting with the setting sun as flowers bloomed and meteor showers emerged across the chapel walls.

Visuals for @lavagxrl EP āMake Believeā were inspired by the albumās themes of romantic fantasy and escapism, reimagined through the lens of a glitchy, sci-fi video game. The entire show was designed to unfold like a game, where you choose a character and go on an adventure.

What is Your Light? at the MIT Chapel presented by the Office of Religious, Spiritual and Ethical Life in collaboration with realtalk@MIT š
Four musicians journey through a score for vibraphone and metals, spelling their own LIGHT and inviting the public to strike a gong to illuminate a lantern projected onto the chapel itself. An hour long sound and visual experience, the music wove together voices of the community sharing reflections when asked āwhat is your lightā recorded prior to the event.
