Working on a @laufey record is nothing but awe-inspiring! With her immense talents for writing, singing and playing every darn instrument! Her and @spencer_stewart have such a wonderful way of writing and producing music that is timeless, daring and tips the hat to tradition and then surprises you with the future!
They always want to push the envelope and so on this record we experimented with recording to tape, using some plates and chamber verbs (ala chamber #2 @sunsetsoundrecorders thanks #zackzajdel), and recording orchestra - one overdub at a time in Sunsetās Studio 2.
So honored to be a part of this creative team and so excited for this new piece of magic to make its way out into the world.

What a time! So happy for the successes of @thelastrepairshop@bgproudfoot@krisbowersmusic and all of the passionate people involved in the making of this touching documentary! As a LAUSD kid who came up playing music in school, I was quite starstruck seeing the repair people from the film walking around the Oscar party! Iām pretty sure some of them were the actual ones fixing the instruments I played as a kid! Please help our future LAUSD kids and donate if you can! @katya.richardson and @krisbowersmusic it was such a pleasure working with you two on this heartfelt score! I feel so lucky to have played a small part in the making of this powerful work!

This is just the best record! So in awe of @indigofaraway ās honesty, emotion and clarity in these songs and lyrics! @gloomer_ek and @indigofaraway really knocked it out of the park producing such a captivating album of songs. It was so fun and such an honor to be trusted with mixing these gems!
