Fusing the soul of bluegrass with the spirit of K-pop, Country Gongbang is South Korea’s first bluegrass band and the first Korean group to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. In 2023, they received the prestigious IBMA
@intlbluegrass (International Bluegrass Music Association) International Band Performance Grant, which led to their groundbreaking 2024 U.S. tour and landmark Opry debut. Most recently, they were nominated for the 2025 IBMA Momentum Awards for Band of the Year and Vocalist of the Year, a historic recognition for a Korean bluegrass group on the international stage.
