Korean beauty, reimagined in New York. 🇰🇷🗽 What if a young Agassi (아가씨) from the Joseon era visited modern-day NYC? 🥯☕️ This shoot was inspired by the idea of ‘how New Yorkers love Korean culture’ — blending the timeless beauty of Hanbok with a little bit of NYC lifestyle. The text overlay on the hanbok skirt features Hangul (한글), the Korean alphabet, originally created as Hunminjeongeum (훈민정음) during the Joseon Dynasty. Through its lines, rhythm, and visual elegance, we wanted to highlight not only the beauty of Korean clothing, but also the beauty of the Korean written language. Tradition meets modernity. Korean culture meets New York. ✳️ Created as part of the 2026 K-Creators in New York program with KCCNY and KOCCA New York. This shoot was coordinated in advance as a program-related project. Captured at @kccny , The Korean Cultural Center New York 📍122 E 32nd St, New York, NY 10016 Grateful to @kccny and @kocca_ny for creating a space where Korean culture continues to be shared, experienced, and reimagined in New York. — Makeup & Hair @amyhausnj Hanbok @thehanbok Flower @scenique.flower Photo @moa.nyc @liebe_newyork Model @sabinainnewyork Venue @kccny — #hanbok #kccny #kcreator #newyork #뉴욕한국문화원
