Hi Everyone we are throwing a benefit show in honor of Ryan McCardle on Saturday June 7th. Ryan did the layout for a large portion the @graveface_recs LPs over the years, in addition to a slew of classics with @capturedtracks and his own label @furioushooves . It is hard to put into words the impact he had on the visuals of Music in the 2010s. He was one of the sweetest and talented people in music. @sung.low , @waxing_crescent_media , and @human_accident are playing.We are fundraising for his family and a charity that is near to their hearts, The Chordoma Foundation. Tickets are $15 and doors are at 7pm. Hope to see y'all there!

pisces feat Henry Hank out now ✨ from my new album of collaborations called Chocolate, Strawberry, and Pistachio out this wednesday 3/12.
This is my favorite song i have ever bn a part of. it was so overwhelming fo hear it back that i crieeeeeeed when i first heard the mix with vocals that Henry sent me.
for this album, i sent instrumental tracks to friends with shared expectation that things would be chopped up again and remixed after they would send their vocals back and then we would evolve the song from there. Like most of the other songs on the album, this one came back and felt nearly finished already. The vocals and lyrics completed the music and shaped it into a new beautiful form that bloomed in ways i could have never predicted.
@angelhairaudio made it so huge and heavy with the master that it even further intensified the experience for me. I cant even remember what i was thinking with this track before Henry got it, but its now my favorite thing and im forever grateful to have been able to make it together.
Excited to finally put out all of the amazing collaborations i was a part of over the past few years. I put out a lot of music while this was being assembled but its definitely the album i am most proud of. Preorder is up on bandcamp thru the link in my bio

Next album is out in the new year. I will never say sunglow is over, but i will be indefinitely taking time to figure out a way to create that is better to me. I really appreciate you all listening to this stuff, even if its different or doesnt sound right at times. I want to be creative in a way that is good to myself, but this project has been carving. I’m all carved up.
crushed today with the passing of @furioushooves legend and my sweetest friend @ryyyyyant . So thankful we crossed paths in savannah and stayed with each other all these years. Proud to call you my friend, grateful to have had you in my life, to have your unending support, and to be able to talk about anything together. I owe everything that sunglow is and could be to you. You pushed me in whatever direction i was in at the time. you really believed in me and music and art and i could never thank you enough for that. In a world where i have very few friends (most of them very far from me), i considered you one of the best i had. I love you Ryan. Sending all love to your amazing partner and bride Jenny, your family, and all your countless friends who are hurting so much during this extremely difficult time.
You carried the energy and warmth of the earths core to so many, and your outlook inspired everyone around you, all the way up to the end. I have one more sunglow album to release and im so happy that you got to hear it. You heard it all. I believe that the energy and goodness we bring to this world doesnt die out even when we are gone, and spreads even further so ~ you ARE the best ever to do it. A diamond wildly sparkling ♥️
