So monumental, it required a special permit from the City of Paris. And because a glass palace in Paris should never sleep, we discreetly hid a fully soundproofed after-party club inside, where guests danced until dawn. A couple of years ago, in the middle of Covid, at a time when the wedding industry was shutting down, I came up with a bold idea. I decided to create a floral masterclass that would not only elevate my brand, but also allow me to genuinely give back. I wanted to share everything I had learned in my first six years in business. It was also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with my favorite supplier and bring them visibility during a difficult moment for everyone. I worked tirelessly for months, investing unprecedented amounts of my own money. In fact, I made absolutely zero profit; it was a pure investment of passion. The event itself was incredibly joyful and energizing. I met passionate people, and for a moment it felt like a celebration of creativity in a time when the world had paused. But it also revealed the tougher side of the industry. I shared the full photo album without thinking about how it might be used. Weeks later, I discovered the design I had imagined and crafted for months credited under the names of some attendees, even published on blog as their work. As much as I would have loved to host more masterclasses, that experience made me decide not to do it again. Authenticity is everything in this industry, and I never want to feel resentment toward something born from generosity. Still, I remain grateful. That masterclass put me on the map as one of the most renowned designers in France, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my story and to everyone who’s been involved .
