We’re a nation of tea drinkers, but most of us don’t know where it comes from or who grows it ☕️
Most of the UK’s tea is actually grown thousands of miles away by workers in places like India and Kenya whose labour keeps the nation brewing.
And only 1 in 10 cups sold here meets Fairtrade standards, meaning most of our cups don’t support fair pay for the people behind them.
Behind these numbers are real people, real livelihoods, and supply chains that often leave tea workers exposed to low prices, rising costs and climate pressure.

Peach + Earl Grey = your new go-to iced tea🍑✨
You’ll need:
• 1L cold water
• 1 heaped tbsp (8–10g) Earl Grey Blue Flower
• 1 tin peaches (with syrup)
Add the tea to the water and leave in the fridge overnight (8–12 hrs). Strain, then stir in the peaches and syrup (chop them up if you like it extra peachy). Serve over ice and enjoy🍹 Super easy and delicious!
