eARTh Agency What we imagine, becomes… Imagine a world of diversity and abundance. Imagine a place where storytellers and artists, scientists and mystics, ecologists and innovators, elders and visionaries - all come together to protect our Earth. Imagine motivating the preservation of the environment through curiosity and wonder, instead of climate anxiety and feelings of consumer guilt. Imagine allowing the earth to tell her own story, through bringing together the many voices that feel a call to represent her. We are imagining all of this. eARTh Agency is a not-for-profit ecological storytelling service that aims to support conservation efforts by weaving webs along tendrils of curiosity and optimism: through science, art, music, ecology, culture + expression of spirit. We create Art for Nature. EQUILIBRIO - The SOMA Surf Story TRAILER (Directors Cut) Last year @flyonthewall_films had the amazing opportunity to go the island of São Tomé, an island positioned at the centre of the world, to capture the beautiful story of @somasurf_ and the incredible work they are doing, empowering young girls and reshaping perspectives through surf therapy. Ana-Filipa Domingues, co-founder and producer at Fly on the Wall, has made her directorial debut, and we’re stoked to finally share this beautiful film with all of you 🫶🏾 🏄🏿‍♀️ Watch the full film now on our website, link in bio 🤙🏽 Thank you to all the amazing and talented crew who worked on this beautiful film with us 🙏🏾🌈❤️‍🔥 Director Ana-Filipa Domingues: @suicidemonkey Cinematographer Bryan Little: @publicshowsofaffection Underwater Cinematographer + 2nd Camera: Diogo Domingues @dingo1983 Sound Recordist Khanya Cona khanyacona South African Producer Anco Henning (Direction Films) Executive Producer: Noelia Lage Vazquez @noelia_lage UK Producer: Nailah Blissett @nailah_bliss Photographer and Videographer: Ana Catarina @anacatarinaphoto Photographer and Videographer: Thiago Theo @thiagotheooooooo Behind the scenes: Nic Eve @nicassaurus Final Sound - @field.audio Final Mix: Simon Kohler @silvan_sikohler Dialogue Edit: David Houston @davidhoustonsound @somasurf_ Rosy Félix @rosyfelix39 Constantina Espirito Santo Adelyna Soares Wazimila Lima Letviana Lourenço Clara Antonio SOMA Founder & President: Francisca Sequeira @franciscasequeira SOMA General Manager: Rita Xavier @randomrita_ SOMA Instructor Emerson Soares SOMA Volunteer Sofia Munhá Lucas Ináclo soffiamunha SOMA Volunteer Beatriz Soares Mesquita Guerreiro Ribeiro @biaribeiro00 SOMA Volunteer Maria Francisca de Oliveira Dias Alcoforado Corte-Real SOMA Volunteer Matilde Da Ponte Agostinho @_matildeagostinho SOMA Volunteer Inês Aroso Cavaca @inescavaca A heartfelt thank you to @betclicportugal @shutterstock_studios and @comingsoonlisboa who made this film possible

Drove past this yesterday, for a second thought it was real 😆 did a full U-turn, got out of the car to check, only to find it was the world’s largest aloe sculpture 🤯Hello! 🤩 The detail is unreal. The only giveaway was the flat tops on the flowers. (And maybe the size too 😜)

Prince used to be a gangster. Now he walks his Soweto streets with a slight swagger, a little trouble in his hat, and when he dances on a street corner, the kids, the mamas, the hustlers, even the tsotsis stop to watch. The African Cypher is about what happens when dance is the thing that keeps you alive..literally, spiritually, economically. It’s about ritual, celebration, council, storytelling. It’s about Prince, a little bit famous for the way he moves down a dusty Soweto street. It’s about Tom London from Soweto’s Finest, who says, “when we dance we find purpose with our bodies.” “I dance, as if I have a gun to my head.” — @madamo_sa , @shakersandmovers.n 🏆 Best SA Documentary — Durban International Film Festival 🏆 Audience Award — Encounters 🏆 African Academy Award nominee It’s been on YouTube, mostly unseen. We’ve never shared it on Instagram. Beginning of winter in South Africa, if you’re looking for something real to watch this weekend, here it is. Link in bio. ⛈️🎬 Dir. Bryan Little | Prod. The votes are in. The prints are made. Signed and framed and heading to their new homes. 🖤 Last October, artist and curator Hermien van der Merwe invited a group of South African artists to spend time on top of Table Mountain, one by one, as part of an incredible residency she created in collaboration with the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. Her vision was simple, bring artists up to her “studio in the sky” and let them do their thing. This is what I did with mine. 🌿 Now those images are heading into two Cape Town exhibitions and I couldn’t be more excited: Suidoosterfees | 29 April – 3 May | Artscape Art on the Mountain | 7 – 30 May | 33 Bree, Cape Town CBD Thank you to everyone who helped me choose, come see them in person! 🖤 @hermien_art @suidoosterfees_sof @artistsgallery_capetown @wetink_design #ArtOnTheMountain #CapeTownArt #SouthAfricanArtists #CheckMyPlants #Fynbos

So this happened 😀✨🦦🦭🐟🌊 eARTh Agency’s first large scale public mural is up at the @vandawaterfront , Cape Town. Painted by the incredible @reetreweek and her team @tulips_and_chimneys.tv supported by @patagoniacapetown , a love letter to the Great African Sea Forest 🫶🏾 Within some sort of blessed synchronicity, not knowing initially that Ree was going to feature a cape clawless otter, Bryan has been gently witnessing an otter den near our home over the past few months. As Filipa says about the otters, ‘The patient ones will be rewarded.’ so pls explore this carousel with that in mind. ✨🙂 At night, the jellyfish light up. We’ll let that land when you get there. We’re incredibly proud of this one 🥲 the first of hopefully many more to come! thank you to everyone who made it happen. 🙏 eARTh Agency is a not for profit, ecological storytelling agency working at the intersection of conservation culture, art and spirituality ecology. And to Ree’s incredible crew who brought this to life @ninapfeiffer (producer extraordinaire 🥂) @3rnst4lex (the technical wizards behind the jellyfish magic) @papsakki climber extraordinaire 🧗 thank you for being absolute legends. 🙏✨ Ps. Don’t bother asking, we will not reveals the otter location 😘

I’ve known Shuhood Abader for years. Bryan and I spent a long time with him adapting his book Poacher: Confessions from the Abalone Underworld into a screenplay, and in doing so, we got to know a truly remarkable and very special human being ❤️ What most people don’t know about Shuhood is that horses are everything to him, it runs through his faith and deep in his family history. After leaving abalone poaching behind, horses remained his greatest passion and his refuge. During COVID, when his horse was at risk, our community rallied to help keep it fed and stabled. That meant everything to him. He taught himself horseback archery, made Mongolian bows from scratch, he even made one for Bryan. He had plans for a horseback archery school. Bryan designed him a few logos ❤️ He also dreamed of joining the Long Riders’ Guild and crossing South Africa on horseback. This is a man of extraordinary spirit and ambition, doing everything he could to build a life on his own terms. And then, last December, Shuhood went for a ride in Philippi, doing what he loves most. A passing driver hooted, his horse bolted, and he was thrown. He struck a pole and hit the ground, suffering multiple skull fractures. He lay unconscious for over an hour before an ambulance arrived. He spent weeks in a coma. Doctors feared he might die or be left permanently disabled. Miraculously, he survived. But recovery from traumatic brain injury is long and uncertain. He is struggling with PTSD, confusion and severe anxiety, and it will likely be months before he can work again. The family is surviving on donations and whatever his daughter, who only finished matric last year, can bring in. Three of her siblings are still in school. They are also carrying an unpaid hospital bill of R50,000. A young woman who should just be starting her life is now holding her family together. Caption Continued in comments

6 years ago today, the most beautiful special hound in the world left us 💔 this photo was taken the day before she died. She was regal and beautiful to the very end. I didn’t think I’d ever recover after losing her… 😭💔How lucky we were to have spent 12 years with the one and only, golden delicious pumpkin fritter, GOLDENSNOUT 🫶🏾 gone but never forgotten🥹✨❤️‍🔥
