During 2020 I spent most of my lockdown alone in a tiny apartment by the ocean. I worked on a lot of my own projects- wrote, created pitches, painted. One happy month I was asked to create a very simple minimalist lyric video for the South African band @orah_and_the_kites_ who are dear friends of mine. Their music is very soulful and harmonic, and I was rather pleased to create something that feels strongly like them. The idea here is that they are done crying all the tears they needed to cry and now they bathe in the meditative bliss of post-grief stillness. Time passes, day becomes night, life continues.
