Happy Poem in Your Pocket Day! šø We had such an amazing event yesterday with @centralprintstudios for a poetry writing and printmaking workshop! No poetry writing experience was required ā but poets we did make! āļø
Each person set out to write a short 4-5 line poem, then learned to set text in letter press equipment which were printed to hand out today!
Thank you @ckeaslerart for leading the workshop and so skillfully helping with word prompts and teaching us how to letter press! A super fun event! We hope we can collaborate with Central Print again!

This Thursday, April 30th at 6pm, join St. Louis native Francene Mary Diane Hill for the official first stop of her āMeet Me in St. Louisā book tour here at Subterranean Books.
Francene Mary Diane Hill grew up surrounded by the energy and purpose of the Tiny Tot Nursery School, founded by her mother, Kermit Hill, in 1951 before she was born. She holds a B.A. from Smith College and an M.S. from Penn State University. Francene Hillās passion for storytelling has taken her to The Moth StorySLAM in Washington, DC.
Copies of Tiny Tots in Tiaras and Tuxedos will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
