Op vrijdag 13 februari keert STYXX terug naar Gent. Deze keer strijkt de organisatie neer op de gezellige dansvloer van Funke, met een lineup die Brusselse en Gentse locals met elkaar verweeft. Voor deze editie brengt STYXX ook een energieke live-act uit Brussel mee, een project waar we eerder al uitgebreid over schreven, en dat perfect past binnen hun visie. STYXX, oorspronkelijk bekend als Stygian’s River, zette zijn eerste stappen met feesten in Aalst, verhuisde daarna naar Gent en vond uiteindelijk ook een vaste uitvalsbasis in Brussel. Doorheen die geografische en inhoudelijke evolutie groeide de organisatie uit tot een herkenbare naam binnen het Belgische nachtleven. Met nachten in onder meer Fuse en Kompass bouwde STYXX gestaag aan een reputatie waarin inhoud, sfeer en technische afwerking centraal staan, eerder dan snelle trends of oppervlakkige formats. Binnen die context past ook het verhaal van @downside.music en @initialcode_cd een liveact vanuit Brussel. Closing the open-air on Saturday, @mac.declos arrives with the poise of a former dancer, someone who first spoke through motion before machines. His instinct carries into sound: honest, physical, patient in its build, and relentless in its precessional drive. He closes with a rare balance of intensity, mechanical force, and deep humanity. In his upcoming album ‘Nothing Stands Still’, he uses the voices and instruments of his own family, letting intimacy and memory seep into the machinery of sound. What emerges is music that grooves, resonates, and lingers, timeless yet human. Like the question that starts each of his sessions: How am I feeling? What do I want to say? Op zaterdag 6 september nemen @styxxcommunity , @kompressor.collective en @districtbrussels gezamenlijk Circle Park en La Fabriek over voor een 16 uur durende marathon. Van de vroege middag tot diep in de nacht wordt de locatie ondergedompeld in een zweterige trip door de underground, waar frisse samenwerkingen elkaar afwisselen. @mac.declos staat als internationale headliner op het programma, terwijl @herton.music b2b @phemia.music en @raremamba b2b @sira.factor zorgen voor krachtige sets die de energie gegarandeerd hoog houden. @dylan.tihon vult dit aan met een karakteristieke, meeslepende vibe.
