VARIA steps into the label game with a brand-new imprint dedicated to pushing the boundaries of techno.
For its inaugural release, the label turns to Zürich’s rising talent GCOD.
Recognized for his distinctive sound, GCOD has quickly established himself as one of the city’s most promising artists, with releases on respected imprints such as Bipolar Disorder Records, Grab the Groove, and Ri7mo.
Since his debut in early 2023, he has been steadily carving out his space in the international electronic music scene.
Beyond his solo work, he is also a core member of ZIMA Blue, Zürich’s notorious DJ trio renowned for their electrifying performances.
The EP features 4 original tracks and includes remixes from two heavy-hitters :
SIRA delivers his signature stripped-down style, built around rhythm and atmosphere to drive dancers into deep, hypnotic states.
Kamen, the French DJ/producer and co-founder of OSS Records and GRS Techno, brings a darker edge, blending hypnotic techno with industrial textures and ambient depth.

Surfacing is a study in tension: grooves tight enough to steer a packed floor, yet spacious enough for long blends or sudden cuts
Each element arrives with purpose, opening pockets of air to breathe just before the pressure rises again
Both sides speak the same language while delivering different messages
@philberg_ distills the title track into a focus-sharpening remix, before Sira closes with a late-hour mover built to steady the room while the lights stay low
