To support our operating costs as a volunteer-led organization, we have produced a portfolio of images by the 5 folks who create FPN’s programming! Prints are on 8.5”x11” paper and not signed or editioned. In the FPN spirit of connection and dialogue, each artwork was chosen by another FPN team member. BIO: Stacey Tyrell (FPN Co-Director) was born and raised in Toronto. She attended OCAD University, where she majored in Photography. Her work predominantly deals with themes of identity, race, and heritage as they pertain to post-colonial societies and the Caribbean diaspora. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at The Magenta Foundation, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Canadian Museum for Immigration at Pier 21, and The Center for Photography at Woodstock. Her images are part of Heritage Canada and the Montréal Arts Interculturels permanent collections, and have appeared in such publications as European Photography, Marie Claire South Africa, Pictures From Paradise: A Survey of Contemporary Caribbean Photographers, Prefix Photo, and Applied Arts Magazine. She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
