Custom entertainment center, storage and entryway closets for this beautiful project by @christianwassmann
For this project we used random matched European white oak to match the flooring by @maderasurfaces . The entertainment center is made with a random matched walnut. I love the random matched veneer layup style because it creates a more irregular and natural look compared to store bought plywood which typically comes in a book matched orientation which creates a noticeable pattern. Book matched veneer isn’t bad by any means and can be very beautiful with the right veneer, but it depends on the project and what look the client is going for. I think custom veneer makes all the difference when it comes to millwork, since you get to hand select the exact color, grain and layup style to fit the project.
A handsome little green kitchen we designed and built recently. Custom random matched ash veneer finished with satin wood oil from @linolie.dk
Integrated solid wood drawer pulls and a custom fluted door front on the tall pantry.
Marble countertops sourced from @basstonenyc
Designed in collaboration with @dkendra
