About two years ago, we had the pleasure to design custom pictograms for @ville_chaumont and its official typeface: Dina Chaumont. The pictograms were designed on the occasion of Chaumont Plage, and just like Dina, they fit the DIN A format perfectly.Chaumont Plage is all about free activities and entertainment, concerts and shared cocktails all summer long. LE GRAPHISME AU SERVICE DES GENS, PAS DE L’EGOCette vidéo ne prétend pas résumer tout le travail de Toan Vu-Huu @studiovuhuuet ce n’est pas le but.L’idée ici, c’est de montrer un fil rouge très clair dans ses projetsle design comme outil de compréhension.Aéroport, ville, institution culturelleà chaque fois, le même principefaire en sorte que les gens comprennent sans effort,peu importe leur langue, leur âge, leur rapport au graphisme.Chez Toan, le graphisme ne cherche pas à impressionner et ilne se regarde pas depuis une tour d’ivoire non plus.Il sert à circuler, se repérer, lire un espace, habiter un lieuSignalétique, typographie, pictogrammestout est pensé comme un langage partagé.C’est exactement pour ça que c’est un cas d’école.Parce que quand le design est vraiment bon,il disparaît derrière ceux qui l’utilisent.Bref, faites une cure de culture.#design #graphisme #typographie #culture
