This one is called 'Performer', painted on a 80/60 cm canvas, photographed somewhere around my studio 🌾
Painted about 5 years ago, inspired by the whiteness, filled with pure light as some sort of evacuation solution for the unbearable present..

Dylan has remained a North Star for me throughout the years mainly because like a painter, he actually makes images.. his verses always read to me like a graphic novel.
In times like these, I find so much inspiration in his words.. to think that by the age of 23(!) he wrote a song like that, when an atomic war was about to break any day. What a lemonade..
I recently read a book: 'What is Art?' by Tolstoy, and to sum it up in a sentence it says that art is anything that enables you to experience someone else's experience.. like, to be one with someone for a moment.
I listen to Dylan's words and I feel that warm comfort, as if the subtext is always 'you are not alone on this boat..'
Thank you Mr. Zimmerman, for that light you brought to my world 🥹
