Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of continuing our Studio explorations into Liveable Cities with an in person experience of some of Liverpools cycling infrastructure .Rides were expertly guided by
@peloton_liverpool . With the help of Danny Paul and John and bikes supplied by
@peloton_liverpool we made our way from
@livuni campus based Bikiosk out to
@livuni Greenbank Halls satellite Bikiosk via Kingsley Road ,Princes Boulevard ,Princes Park ,Sefton Park,Penny Lane and surrounds .Loads of social interactions and moments not possible by car and students able to engage first hand in issues of access ,use ability and safety . Explorations were supported by a fabulous lecture by Dr Alex Nurse ‘Pragmatic Cycling ,Policy +Provocation ‘ focussing on users and their different everyday needs ,
@lpoolcitycouncil LCC net zero Carbon 2030 action plan and
@lpoolcitycouncil State of health in Liverpool 2040 report and some of the processes involved in enabling modal change .
All brilliantly underpinning our Fragile Futures projects for Penny Lane and
@lpoolcityregions active travel proposals .Thankyou
@peloton_liverpool @livuni Alex Nurse ! And of course
@livuniarch 🚴🏽☀️🚶🏽♂️👩🏻🦯👩🏻🦼
