When Apricots Blossom 🍃
An immersive takeover of Palazzo Citterio explores Uzbek craftsmanship, cultural renewal within the Karakalpak region and the environmental legacy of the Aral Sea.
The exhibition activates the entire site of the historic palazzo. Commissioned by ACDF Chairperson @gayane_umerova , curated by leading architect Kulapat Yantrasast and in line with ACDF’s ambition to present Uzbek craft and culture through a contemporary lens, we invited 12 international designers to develop their own interpretations of the traditional bread stamps and create a unique bread tray in collaboration with local Uzbek artisans.
