First day of RHS Malvern, did you know it’s the oldest regional flower show in the UK?

Yesterday was a full on day, painting and wallpapering my space for Country Living’s @clfairs@rhsmalvern , but I’m so happy with how it turned out.
I collaborated with the best flower grower in the land, Aizel @yalhamhayes , creating bespoke bouquets for my space, I couldn’t be happier! She deserves to win Chelsea flower show this year!! 🙌
Hanging my wallpaper up has made a real difference, no one asks if it’s wrapping paper anymore 🤣

It’s one of the first major garden fairs of the year in the UK, situated in the lovely Malvern hills. Expect flowers, garden tips and a fab day for shopping, just find me in the Country Living Artisan Fair tent, next door to my husband @thememorialworkshop , who is also showing! A common question I get asked is, can you wallpaper a bathroom? And the short answer is yes, with @polyvine_uk you can simply varnish your wallpaper once it’s hung to give it a protective seal against humidity and wear and tear.

When the designer becomes the decorator! Hanging my own wallpaper was surprisingly easy, paste the wall is a much cleaner application and I was impressed how durable the paper is, especially when handled around corners and over fixtures, like radiator parts- a little splicing and cutting is all you need the joins dry almost invisibly. This is my first bit of wallpaper in our home, I’m a bit proud to say the least! 😍 Have a question? Let me know!

May your days be a little greener and sunny this week! I have been so rubbish at posting recently, to be honest, it’s been pretty stressful, with a new car breaking down, bathrooms getting done, so I’ve had to shower elsewhere…all whilst trying to work, so posting has been the last thing on my mind. I’m hoping once I get over the hump of this week, things will get back to normal and I can get my head around with showing some new things!
Anyway, have a lovely week all, sorry for the rant- with everything that is going on in this precious world, my problems are rather tiny, so I best buck up! I have coffee, I have flowers in my garden and a lovely husband to share my woes with. The day is still young 💪, let’s kick some butt!
A little behind the scenes to a very slow work in progress….i know there are quicker ways to do things, but weirdly the slowness allows me think of layers, colours and how the design will look in the end, I toyed with painting this but I know it would have been harder to colour separate in the end. I really enjoy the meditative process of the actual design work. This is just a little sneak peek into a new design coming, not so soon 😂
