We're going to be part of the TOUCH GRASS exhibition, June 4, 2026, taking place at Laundry Studios, 2 Warburton Road, London E8 3RT. TOUCH GRASS explores the creative energy of being outside. Shaped by public space, street culture, nature and an “OFFLINE BY DESIGN” ethos. We're showing our "All the Springs She Remembered" collage portrait in this exhibition. This is the first time we're sharing this: This collage portrait was created in the middle of overwhelming changes. Its creation coincided with the difficult times of COVID. It was created with a specific palette in our mind, where we tried, subconsciously and instictively, to convey our need that we yearned for at the time, to grasp the colourfulness and the incredible wealth of different color hues of nature in Spring. We love the colors we used in this composition, because they feel fresh and contemporary, but in keeping with in our characteristic style. A father, artist, best selling author and lover of tress. @lukeadamhawker is really a force to be reckoned with. With probably around 10 years of collaborations between us ranging from our early First Thursday showcases including with Instagram, hosting an illustration workshop on a cruise ship with Red Bull, curating part of our illustration showcase with adidas at their flagship oxford street store to many commissions and showcases. It’s safe to say that seeing Luke continue to flourish and bless more people with his art has been a joy to beyond. Luke Adam Hawker is an artist with a background in Architecture and Design. Luke commenced his career as a designer before he became a full-time artist in 2015. He has a fascination with drawing on location as well as taking the time to notice the world around him. He primarily uses his art as a means to connect with places and people. Having Luke part of the TOUCH GRASS showcase is a match made in heaven. His beautiful artworks created on location embodies the touching grass ethos perfectly. Having worked on multiple projects with @shai.digital we can honestly say we have loved being part of her journey and watching her work blossom and go from strength to strength. We also just love seeing the resonance and reaction to her work each & everytime! Taking centre stage with two pieces of work “Power in the Puff” and “No Rhyme, Just a Reason” @shai.digital Shai is a visual storyteller that creates vibrant pieces, primarily in the realm of portraiture, that explore themes of identity, diaspora, healing and black joy. She’s most inspired by her personal and shared experiences as a black woman in this crazy world, with nods to her Ghanaian heritage sprinkled throughout her pieces. Ultimately she aims to create the type of artwork she wishes existed and was represented whilst she was growing up. ⚡️Massive thanks to Laundry Studios for being excellent hosts. 👀East London. We’re super excited to showcase the work of @oluwapelumi.oluyemi Oluwapelumi Oluyemi is a contemporary artist exploring how memory, migration, and spirituality shape identity across lived experience. Originally from Nigeria and now based in the United Kingdom, she relocated to study MA Fine Art, graduating in 2025. Working with image transfer, layered writing, and material processes, Oluyemi constructs surfaces that hold fragmented traces of family, place, and time. Introducing to you @simonaruscheva Simona Ruscheva graduated in Fine Art Painting in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, and is currently living and working in London, UK Her latest solo show, Seedlings, was presented at Galerie OVO in Taipei, Taiwan in 2024. Her previous solo exhibitions include Transitions in London in 2022, her first UK solo show. Ruscheva has also participated in numerous international group exhibitions, including shows across London and at the Royal Institute of British Artists Annual Exhibition, where her work received a Highly Commended distinction from the De Laszlo Foundation. Delighted to share my painting ‘As the Rain Falls’ will be showing at TOUCH GRASS - a group exhibition presented by @studio404.world and @creativedebuts 🌾 Taking place June 4, PV 6-9pm, please RSVP if you’re interested in attending (find the link in my bio) ‘As the Rain Falls’ suggests a hope to find peace in the midst of rain, or whatever else befalls us. It explores the limitations, but sometimes the necessity, of escape. Here the “rain” is not a physical presence, but something carried, or endured within everyday life. The work reflects on the complexities of mental refuge within lived environments, asking: can we ever truly escape, even when we step outside ourselves, or is the lasting peace the one we find within?
