🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 Season 1 of the @otherbox AT WORK podcast is here and we’re starting with a big one: NARCISSISM AT WORK.
➡️ Trailer is out now! Subscribe wherever you listen to your podcasts (link in bio)
‘Narcissist’ is a term that’s thrown around a lot. But what does it *really* mean in a workplace context?
It’s often misused, used without context, especially at work. That’s why in the first season of AT Work, we’re breaking it down:
👉🏾 What narcissism really is
👉🏾 How it shows up at work
👉🏾 And why understanding it could change how you navigate your career
We’re joined by Dr. Daksha Hirani (@parmisupport ), a leading Clinical Psychologist who specialises in recovery from narcissistic abuse. Across eight episodes, plus eight bonus Listener Letters sharing real-life workplace stories from our community, we’re covering everything.
🎧 NARCISSISM AT WORK launches on 23rd June, but you can subscribe and listen to the trailer now.

We’re still riding the high of @otherbox presents: @heleenatheodore Uncensored from over the weekend where over 500 people came to see her paintings in person.
When Heleena approached Other Box to work with her on her debut solo exhibition, we couldn’t have been more excited and honoured.
UNCENSORED celebrated art, beauty, femininity, and personal power. It was bold and unapologetic, focusing on divine feminine sensuality and South Asian erotica. But this wasn’t just an event. We helped reclaim stories, amplifying what had often been erased due to colonisation and patriarchal influences and made taboo.

Very honoured to be featured on the @voguebusiness 100 Innovators list as Founder of @otherbox as a ‘Champion of Change’.
From launching Other Box in 2016 to partnering with hundreds of progressive businesses committed to creating positive change, and building an incredibly talented creative community over the years—Other Box has impacted so many lives, and completely changed mine.
This recognition comes at a pivotal moment, following our relaunch earlier this summer. It reaffirms that the path we’re on is not only necessary but essential. Our commitment to creating access, advancing equity, and empowering marginalised voices is stronger than ever.
Thank you to the @voguebusiness team and @malihashoaib_ for this recognition, and of course to our community of clients, collaborators, and friends we’ve made a long the way—you’re the reason we’re able to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and breaking barriers we once thought were not.
Here’s to more growth, unlearning/relearning, and meaningful positive change ahead. 🤎
Ok got to get back to work! Byeeee.

We saw Asma Siddiqui (@ayesemay ) article on Vogue India, and loved these two quotes.
She says:
As a young person, it’s difficult to dream of being a real writer or working in the literary field in a world plagued with AI. But if there’s one thing AI cannot replicate, it’s how writing makes one feel. Art carries something special within itself; all work reflects the hours spent and the mistakes made by the maker to arrive at something beautiful. We’d like to see a machine try and do that.
We couldn’t agree more!

“Exhibition will explore the world that exists beyond the screen: graffiti walls, skate spots, the intersection between nature and mankind, street photography, sport, protest, architecture, fashion, park life and the everyday rituals of people gathering outside.
It is about presence over performance, connection over consumption, and what becomes possible when we log off, step outside, and enjoy what life has to offer in shared, community spaces.”

MEET @lydia_pang_ . A creative force we’ve admired for a long time. After building a career across some of the world’s biggest media, advertising, and brand spaces, she’s since carved out her own lane as Co-Founder of @morning.fyi / @evening.fyi and now as the author of @eat_bitter_ .
She describes herself as a “Creative Frankenstein”, which feels fitting for someone whose work moves between strategy, culture, storytelling, leadership, and instinct. Through the MØRNING PEOPLE FUND, over £50k has already been awarded to the creative community, with Lydia building spaces that challenge extractive industry norms and asking what it means to, in her words, “be less shit”.
When we asked Lydia to describe herself in 3 words, she said: Decisive. Emotional. Guts…It’s also exactly how we’d describe EAT BITTER.
Rooted in Hakka history, family memory, and the Chinese proverb “endure hardship to taste sweetness,” the book explores ancestry, fertility, food, family, burnout, and what it means to transform survival into something nourishing. We couldn’t put it down.
EAT BITTER is out 14.05.26.

So pleased to have been selected to show my piece 'Cotton Crown' as part of the group show TOUCH GRASS, alongside so many incredible artists, curated and hosted by @creativedebuts@otherbox@studio404.world .
Private View 4th June 6pm - 9pm (rsvp via link in bio)
'Cotton Crown' was inspired by the farmers protests in India (2020-2021), using utility turban fabric (parna) and words from the Sikh scriptures (Guru Granth Sahib), it seeks to represent the spirituality and reverence with which land is tended to and cared for by these farming communities.
TOUCH GRASS explores the creative energy of being outside. Shaped by public space, street culture, nature and our “OFFLINE BY DESIGN” ethos.
TOUCH GRASS celebrates the world that exists beyond the screen: graffiti walls, skate spots, the intersection between nature and mankind, street photography, sport, protest, architecture, fashion, park life and the everyday rituals of people gathering outside.
It is about presence over performance, connection over consumption, and what becomes possible when we log off, step outside, and enjoy what life has to offer in shared, community spaces.
The Met Gala is giving Hunger Games, and it’s so grim logging on a Tuesday morning to be flooded by platforms and media outlets trying to shove it down our throats like it’s the only thing that matters.
Extreme wealth, spectacle, performance, while the real world is dealing with war, displacement, rising inequality, people struggling to make ends meet, and violent, oppressive systems that continue to harm the most vulnerable.
And yet still, the conversation becomes “best dressed” lists, repackaged by demographic, as if this is somehow progress???
This could have been a moment to show values.
principles, ANYTHING that reflects the reality we’re living in. But like sheep, we lap it up, defaulting to distraction, scrolling, consuming, desperate to be entertained.
Stand for nothing, fall for anything.
