INTRODUCING BIOSONIC SOUND SESSIONS + RESTFUL YOGA
Join us
@davehart_music and
@studio.shruti for our second collaboration, exploring restful yoga with the sounds of nature, the Indian flute, handpan and more…🎼
We met in May 2024, where we collaborated on a nature retreat at
@hilfield_friary in Dorset with
@soulrewilding , where the theme was to explore the sounds of nature alongside intuitive movement. We are delighted to be offering this session at the wonderful Hangar Gallery at the
@royalcollegeofart , Battersea.
Biosonica is an evolving practice exploring how sound can shape atmosphere and experience within shared spaces.
Experience immersive sound environments for calm, connection — shaped through natural sounds, composition and live performance.
We will be practising primarily floor-based postures in this extended and healing session. Beginning with meditation and breathwork, Shruti will guide you through a sequence of restorative positions whilst sharing Indian Head Massage therapeutic techniques to those who wish to go deeper into relaxation. This practice is designed to help you activate your parasympathetic nervous system, enter into rest and digest and create a sense of spaciousness within the mind and body. To close, we will experience a 15-20 minute deep listening session in our chosen rest pose.
