hello helloo! hope this finds you all well… it’s been a little while and with spring coming in we are super excited to announce our first studioinvites concert for this year! it’s an absolute pleasure to welcome @elijahfox all the way from LA. he will be in europe for his solo piano improvisation tour and is stopping over in maastricht to play a solo piano show under the trees of our beloved space here it will be a journey ✨ unfortunately there’s no more tickets as we are SOLD OUT much love, jonas, alliz & valentin ~ Elijah Fox is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. He grew up in Durham, NC and began playing piano at age 11 and was mentored early on by Yusuf Salim, a pianist who had played with Charlie Parker and began performing in local jazz clubs. Fox studied piano at Oberlin Conservatory with Sullivan Fortner, Billy Hart, Dan Wall, and Gary Bartz and graduated in 2017 before moving to New York City. His piano composition “East Village” was sampled by Drake and 21 Savage on “Major Distribution” reaching number 3 on the Billboard Charts. Fox has also recorded produced for SZA, Masego, YG, ScHoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, Tate McCrae, Musiq Soulchild, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, J Cole, and many others as well as releasing his own original compositions and sample packs. His impressionistic original piano composition “Wyoming” went viral on TikTok and has received over 20 million streams on Spotify. He is signed to UMPG for publishing as a writer/composer. He is also the touring keyboardist for UK drummer Yussef Dayes and has performed throughout the world. Fox has also performed his original music at sold out shows across the US and Europe. His sound blends elements of jazz, Impressionism, and psychedelic soul.

sunday throwback to the wonderful concert in London earlier this yeah which we’ve put together with our dear friends from @bluemountainschool in their space 💙 it was such a beautiful experience - especially in such a vibrant and busy city - to be able to create this timeless moment in which everything and everyone was allowed to slow down, be present and experience their very own way to connect while being wrapped in the warm sound and presence of @thevernonspring ! thank you all very much 🤍

dear friends! on Sunday, 1st of December we will have our last studioinvites concert for this year. To suit the vibe of the season we are happy to invite London based pianist and composer SHIN SUZUMA who will be performing a solo piano concert in a small and cozy living room setting on our grandfather’s grand piano. Shin Suzuma’s music explores the meeting point between the classical and neo-classical. Inspired by the sonic and harmonic creativity of Chilly Gonzales and Nils Frahm, he began to develop his long-held love of improvisation into composition. With the occasional touch of melancholy, his music always has a prevailing sense of hope and gentle optimism. Being of mixed British and Japanese heritage, his other inspirations include the Japanese artists Ryuichi Sakamoto and Joe Hisaishi. Shin Suzuma’s celebrated debut solo piano EP “Introspect” and “Solitude” were written with a small and intimate audience in mind; as if they were right next to the piano itself. since the space has very limited capacity it will be an RSVP only event to keep it intimate and personal. heyaaa dear friends, hope you are all well and feeling spring’s vibrations finding their way into this year..  we are super excited to invite you for another and very special studioinvites concert by the end of April. this time we are teaming up with our dear friends from @bluemountainschool and will host a cozy gathering & concert at their beautiful and unique space in Shoreditch / East London !! on sunday, 28th of April we gonna have the wonderful pleasure to enjoy a musical journey with @thevernonspring performing a live concert at Blue Mountain School’s rooftop space!   THE VERNON SPRING was born after many years of Sam Beste writing, producing and performing with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Kano, Gabriels, Leon Vynehall, MF DOOM, and his own band Hejira.
