Beware!!! Frankengoober🫨 Somebody left a window open at our studio this week and the wind messed up all of our works. This Thursday we are going to bring them back to life in the form of Frankengoober. 22/01 - Cozy get-together, Hidden Behind partners up together with the oud-charlois artist collective 'Studio Goob' combining live drawing sessions with Ambient DJ performances from Eli Hooper, PL3TH0RA and Thomas High + Live visuals by hiddenbehindmist and some baked goodies from Horrenda's Bakery. Studio Goob - Goob—rolling off the tongue like a salty treat with a sweet, acidic aftertaste. Sitting somewhere between goop, gobble, and glimmer, Goob is many, but so are we. Exploring illustration, ceramics, comics, community, and performance. @studio.goob Eli Hooper- trying to function through the attempt to bring portions from his own world: one of nostalgia, fascination, and absurdity, a warm feeling in the heart, a fuzziness in the ears, and wrestle them into the one we all share. PL3TH0RA - DJ, Producer and performance artist based in Rotterdam of Surinamese and Dutch decent. Breaks, kicks, and bass are the core of her sets, exploring breakbeat, Raggatek, hardcore, among others. Thriving in uptempo genres, she also enjoys playing with a variety of rhythms. @pl3.th0.ra Thomas High - Rotterdam based musician and artist originally from Budapest, Hungary, with roots in Conakry, Guinea. His music reflects a rich blend of cultural influences and sonic exploration. Primarily working within hip-hop, jazz, and alternative music. Alongside these styles, he has also experimented with ambient soundscapes, allowing space, mood, and subtle detail to take center stage. For this event, he presents a specially curated DJ set, showcasing a selection of his favorite ambient tracks and offering a more introspective side of his musical world. @thomashigh__ HORRENDA's BAKERY MC Horrenda Situatie doesn't sugarcoat life—she salts it, scorches it, then makes you laugh while putting out the flames.
