CI / Website Design for Grisebach
After nearly 1.5 years of work, the new website for Grisebach has launched. Perfectly in time for their 40th anniversary.
Thank you to
@grisebach_auctions for the trust and the opportunity to rethink the website and refine the corporate identity.💟
Our work went beyond visual design. The project included a complete structural rethink of the website: redefining the UI, restructuring the UX, reorganizing the microtypography, simplifying navigation, and creating faster access to auctions, events, artworks, and the archive.
We also introduced an additional serif typeface (été’s longtime favourite Feature from
@commercialtype ,
@bertonhasebe ,
@mr_schwartz ) to improve readability and microtypography across large amounts of detailed information.
The signature color magenta remained unchanged, while the color system was expanded with tones named after artists connected to Grisebach (e.g. #andywarhol Pink, #maxliebermann Green, #perkirkeby Beige...pretty nerdy, we know 🙂).
Much love and thank you to everyone involved. On behalf of our client:
@sarahbuschor ,
@leonierolinck , diandradonecker ❤️
