Sunday I had an impressive day !
In glorious sunshine, I visited the Nomad exhibition, which featured a magnificent selection of high-quality art and furniture.
Midday, I went on to the White Turf event – horse racing on the frozen lake. The ice cover, which is only 50 cm thick, is sufficient for hosting such events.
Finally, Carsten Höller’s phenomenal pink mirror carousel on a frozen ice rink.

Amar – Silent Companions
Objects for everyday life, imbued with memories and tranquillity. The exhibition combines the wisdom of nomadic cultures with the minimalist aesthetics of modern craftsmanship. In a dialogue between past and present, companions for life emerge that transcend status and consumerism. Ancient felt carpets from Altai, lamps from Kilzi, limited-edition objects from Yves Salomon X Chapo Création and selected finds from Ricardo Fasanello, Michael Anastassiades and more accompany the narrative of Amar – peace, silence and timelessness.

I am very much looking forward to our participation in #nomad NOMAD St. Moritz this year. As a multidisciplinary workshop where spaces and objects are created and fragments are explored, it feels special to be able to show our work in this setting.
The fact that we can present ourselves here alongside such extraordinary galleries and projects fills me with pride – and at the same time with humility. I am particularly touched to be showing AMAR with objects that are inspired by long-standing friendships with #altai ALTAI and tell of new encounters that have inspired and touched me, such as those with #kilzi Kilzi.
Works by Ricardo Fasanello, Yves Salomon x Chapo Création and other personalities come together in a quiet dialogue, rounding off this exhibition to create a very personal moment.

Mit grosser Vorfreude blicke ich auf unsere Teilnahme an der #nomad NOMAD St. Moritz in diesem Jahr. Als multidisziplinäre Werkstatt, in der Räume und Objekte entstehen und Fragmente erforscht werden, fühlt es sich besonders an, unsere Arbeit in diesem Rahmen zeigen zu dürfen.
Dass wir uns hier neben so aussergewöhnlichen Galerien und Projekten präsentieren können, erfüllt mich mit Stolz – und zugleich mit Demut. Besonders berührt mich, AMAR mit Objekten zu zeigen, die von langen Freundschaften mit #altai ALTAI getragen sind und von neuen Begegnungen erzählen, die mich inspiriert und bewegt haben, wie jene mit #kilzi Kilzi.
Werke von #ricardofasanello Ricardo Fasanello, #yvessalomoneditions Yves Salomon x #chapocreation Chapo Création und weiteren Persönlichkeiten fügen sich zu einem stillen Dialog zusammen und runden diese Ausstellung zu einem sehr persönlichen Moment ab.
