I had the pleasure of stopping by the new @studio804_inc home located in Brook Creek today on East 12th. The subdivision created by @structrestruct -
This year is the 30th year that #danrockhill and his students in the Studio 804 class build a home in their final year. It’s literally a thesis built on sweat, effort, teamwork, good design & lots of planning.
This year there are 19 students. I got a sneak peek at the drawings. It’s going to be a cool one level home.
It’s not always glamorous, building a home. Sometimes you have to dig the footings for the foundation by hand. This looks like another strong, committed crew. I look forward to seeing them work together to manifest another cool modern home for someone in Lawrence, Kansas. @universityofkansas & @arcd_ku is fortunate to have Dan doing his thing and students who are willing to work hard, making sacrifices to accommodate a demanding school year.
Good evening friends, Today the price of this home was reduced $45,900 to $599,000.
The sellers are ready to hand off the baton to the next stewards.
