My husband came into my life almost nine years ago during a season where I was deeply focused on my relationship with Ke Akua… growing, healing, and becoming a woman - not “just a girl” anymore 🥹 During a chapter of deep discipline, obedience & faith he walked into my life and never left. We’ve been through so many seasons together before meeting at the altar… & I’ll never take it lightly. Kaikea has been the constant proof of His goodness since our worlds collided, so having a dramatic curtain reveal moment as @hello.duo.hawaii played Goodness of God as I go down that isle felt only right 🙏🏽 One of those rare full-circle moments where you realize life has been quietly aligning everything all along. A moment I’ll replay in my heart forever.

Backing tracks can also be played with violin- we have many styles- not just piano backing tracks, but also pop/contemporary backing tracks we can play with! This is great when you want to hear a clean- pre recorded track yet still have the magic of a soloist presenting a unique sound and style!

Our Artistic Director Monica Chung @kauaipianomon joined Kaycee Milne (violin & Board member) @stringsofhawaii and Josh Nakazawa (cello) @manamusichawaii to prepare “The Dolphin Song” by Sam Wu @samwuuhoo — a beautiful piece they’ll perform this evening alongside Shawn Conley @shawnchristopherconley and Jake Shimabukuro @jakeshimabukuro
Kaycee, Josh, and Shawn all performed in our recent Titan concert here on Kaua‘i, and we’re so proud to see these incredible musicians continuing to share their talents across the islands. 🌊✨
The group is also rehearsing “Town With An Ocean View” by Joe Hisaishi, and “Galloping Seahorses” — celebrating the harmony between music and the ocean. 🐬🎻
