Helena’s Journey Ended Today 🌈🐾
It is with deep sadness that we share that Helena did not make it. Her tiny body was too traumatized from her horrific injuries to survive, and she passed away this morning.
This morning, she received IV fluids, but her temperature was dangerously low. We fed her Gerber with a syringe, offering what comfort we could, but a short while later, her temperature had dropped to 35°C, and she left us.
This was another senseless act of cruelty that took an innocent life. Yet, we are grateful that Helena did not die alone on the streets. Her injuries were severe, and in a way, this may have been the kindest outcome for her. Now, she is at peace with the angels.
Thank you to everyone who gave her a chance, who cared for her in her final hours.
Rest in peace, little angel. 💔

It was truly an honor and a privilege to have been part of such an incredible mission to help liberate 500 beagles from Ridglan Farms.
I could not be more proud to have worked alongside so many amazing people who were there for one reason only — to help and to be part of changing these dogs’ lives forever.
Thank you to @beaglefreedom and the @centerforahumaneeconomy for allowing me to be part of something so meaningful.
It was a rewarding, emotional, exhausting week filled with pride and satisfaction knowing these beagles now have the chance at the lives they deserve.
And yes… I cried on my drive home. I had been stoic all week, but it finally hit me just how powerful and important this mission truly was.
It was so great meeting everyone and getting to be with these beautiful beagles!

The Mexico 5 Are Finally Home!
Yesterday, our Mexico 5 dogs completed the final leg of their journey from Toronto, Canada to their forever homes in Calgary, Canada with the help of our amazing partners at @barcsrescue .
After surviving the streets of Rayon, Mexico, these five now have an incredible future ahead of them filled with safety, love, and happiness.
A huge thank you to @sabrinamaria22 and @paigemouland for helping with today’s transport, and to everyone who has supported and donated to this freedom mission. None of this would be possible without you.
I know the team back in Mexico will be filled with tears of joy seeing these little ones finally get the lives they deserve.
Please help us wish them a happy life as they begin this beautiful new chapter.
