One of the special northern light moments… they went of the charge in our Storm cabin last weekend. With the -15c temps the moon reflected its light on a frost crystals in the air and created a Moonbow under the northern lights. You can see on the second photo, one of the most special photo I have shoot.

Take a group of people, unknown to each other, all with a longing for adventure and head into the remote highlands of Iceland in the middle of winter.
That’s how our epic journey with @stormexped played out. From a howling blizzard and complete white out to -23c freezing and crystal clear air.
In these rather extreme conditions team work and preparation is key. Plan, map out, bring the right gear and look over the risks. There’s many variables to a successful mission and thanks to @siggiworld and @benjaminhardman the expedition was a success.
We might have started this journey as strangers, but in the end we made it out of the highlands as good friends with big smiles on our faces!

By @benjaminhardman . The Storm expedition team went up close and personal with the new volcano. Permission and safety by @landsbjorg . Documenting these volcanos has proved so valuable for the authorities and scientists. These clips helps us learning more on the characteristics of the volcanos.
Ben has really specialised in these shots which are practical for knowledge but they spark also the highest beauty of the power of nature.
