A real #latergram š Photos from the preview of Fondazione Dries van Noten opening last month. Sensitively co-curated by Dries and Geert Bruloot, the site-specific exhibition āThe Only True Protest Is Beautyā creates conversations between disciplines as diverse as sculpture, photography, fashion, jewelry and contemporary design and craft.
Open this week during the Biennale, itās worth the visit to the 15th century Palazzo Pisani Moretta.

Counting sheep š š š Way back in 2013, when New York was still a bit fun and weird and things were very possible, developer Michael Shvo teamed up with Kasmin Gallery to install 25 āmoutonsā from the late artist FranƧois-Xavier Lalanne (with more than half from Shvoās personal collection) as the inaugural exhibition of Getty Station, a public art program located at the former Getty gas station in West Chelsea.
Once the permits and the market aligned, Shvo built Getty Residences, a 12 story residential tower designed by Peter Marino, with Lehman Maupin Gallery as the ground floor anchor tenant.
Sadly, todayās Chelsea is no longer that Chelsea, Paul Kasmin has left us, and standing on the corner today, most people would be citing auction results to calculate the value of 2 dozen Lalanne sheep.
All to say, I miss that New York.
And that wasnāt even the best of it⦠memoir TK

Paris, je tāaime ā„ļø Today Iām celebrating my love for the place, the city, the vibe that is Paris. Iām feeling so fortunate that after a few twists and turns, I have landed here. Bisous š
Iām in love all over again š„° Reunited with Hong Kong and it feels so good; the views, the food, the energy, the patterns, the mess and the noise; but especially the people, this city has my heart!! Looking forward to seeing you again soon , XO HK

A memorable 24 hours in Antwerp š Meeting Tim Van Laere at his gallery in Rome last week was a revelation. So when he invited me to the Franz West opening at his flagship gallery, I jumped at the invitation and made my plans to join him in Antwerp last night. (his bond with West is so personal that itās rumored that the galleryās pink branding comes from Westās signature color)
It is a monumental show with sculptures, collages and furniture coming straight from Westās studio, with works from longtime supporters like Galerie Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman.
So while it is Thanksgiving back in New York, Iām feeling thankful for the people and moments that the universe has been putting in my path lately, and my willingness to embrace them all⦠šš¼

Maximum Minimal š¤ š¤ The most sublime curation and installation of minimalist artwork Iāve ever seen. It is a global view, spanning decades, curated by Jessica Morgan, Director Dia Art Foundation. With an exquisite installation by Meg Webster in the rotunda, the show also includes artwork from Mary Corse, Walter De Maria, Koji Enokura, Dan Flavin and Felix Gonzalez-Torres, to name a few, this show is not to be missed.
(and thanks @katherine_chan for the +1 !)
Bravo šš¼Last night was the preview of an exceptional edition in homage to Roger Fatus (1926-2025), a major figure in French design of the 60s-70s, a partnership between Mobilier National & Galerie Demisch Danant. Surrounded by incredible historical pieces, in a precise, masculine building, it was a perfect exhibition of timeless modern work.
