Hey y’all, I’m Stephy Bloom. I’ve spent over twenty years doing what I love — singing, writing, arranging, directing, teaching, and creating spaces that celebrate the heart of music. From tours and studio sessions to Broadway coaching and choir directing, I’ve been blessed to experience music from every side — on stage, behind the mic, and in the classroom. Now, I’m bringing all those lessons, relationships, and experiences together to create something special for us. The Stephy Bloom & Friends Live Experiences are more than concerts — they’re moments of joy, nostalgia, and connection that remind us just how powerful music really is. We’re living in a time where so many of us are craving joy, connection, and a real sense of togetherness. For me, these shows are my way of giving that back — of sparking memories, honoring the music that carried us, and spotlighting the incredible talent right here in our city. The goal is simple: keep the arts alive and our culture thriving. I’ve included photos of SOME of my favorite musical moments from the past 20 years. There is so much more to share, and in time I will. The last clip is from 2021, just a moment of childhood reflection while singing one of the closing songs from “Mr. Roger’s neighborhood”. Thank you so much to my bro @brockwell1984 for inviting me to his awesome private screening of “Michael”. It was so much fun celebrating and enjoying the music of MJ with real MJ fans!! A time was had, and music truly does bring people together. The movie was excellent in my opinion. @jaafarjackson ABSOLUTELY did his thing!! What a beautiful weekend!! It was an honor and a pleasure to serve at The Whole Her Conference in Atlantic City this weekend! It took me awhile to do this because I really wanted to take my time with this post… I am always so grateful for every opportunity that God chooses to bless me with, however sometimes there are blessings that just “hit different”, this experience of singing with my friend and mentor @donaldlawrence was definitely one of them. I am always in such awe of his mastery, knowledge, way of crafting a sound, and the way that he instructs. I know that every time he calls on me, I’m supposed to learn something, and I always do. Lincoln Center was nothing short of amazing. I got to watch my mentor do exactly what he set out to do. He presented gospel music as the true art form that it is, in all its excellence, power, and anointing, all while educating the people on its impact. Literally EVERYTHING!! It should always feel like this!!! Donald, thank you so much for calling on me these past few years, and for allowing me to be part of such special moments. It has meant more than I could ever articulate. Thank you for the family you’ve given me with Co, and the amazing gifts that I got to meet and sing with at this experience at Lincoln Center. These days, I’m not outside much for leisure. Most of the time I’m working. However I got to enjoy composer/arranger Eric Whitacre at Carnegie Hall today. I have been a fan of his work for several years now. Aside from his compositions, I was also inspired by his work using a virtual choir. He was the first that I had seen to do such a thing, and it was before the pandemic. He actually shared the story tonight, about how he had started doing the virtual choir 10 years prior to the pandemic happening, not realizing there would actually be a need for such a thing years down the road. It was a helpful tool that I was able to help spearhead to keep our music ministry connected to the congregation, when we weren’t able to be inside of the church. It was a beautiful thing in the midst of chaos. Tonight was awesome. I was reminded of the importance of taking time out to just be inspired, to enjoy life. Also, I got to enjoy it with family. Still there is so much to post about the Stephy Bloom & Friends “Power Of Love” show. These pictures captured the joy I felt on the inside, and the strength I felt from all of the love and support. It wasn’t easy, but it was certainly worth it. I want to send special thanks to my glam squad!! My gown was designed and made by @mesweetkee !! Sis you are an absolute genius! I felt like a queen in this gown all night! Thank you so much for always making sure I make a stunning entrance! My makeup was done by @tanayajmakeup and hair by @mysterjackson ! You both are absolutely INCREDIBLE at what you do! I appreciate how hard you go at making me feel and look my absolute best during these special moments in my life!
