🙏🏽💙 Thank you South Bay Health & @katmonkphoto ! What an honor for this born & raised Manhattan Beach kid :) My friends and I often reflect upon what a privilege it was to grow up in the South Bay with so many incredible opportunities to live an active lifestyle and feel a part of something. Competing in Junior Lifeguard Taplin each summer, playing on the underdog MB Softball Little League World Series team, and giving the boys a run for their money each recess basketball game at Robinson Elementary are memories I’ll never forget! It is no coincidence that some of my friends from these early chapters are still my best friends today! 🏄🏽‍♀️ It takes a village to cement a kid’s confidence and self-worth. I’d like to thank and acknowledge my family and the Manhattan Beach community of phenomenal parents, school teachers, coaches, and LA County Lifeguard mentors; YOU are the reason I’ve been able to navigate my ever-evolving career in fitness and develop a couple of entrepreneurial skills along the way. Mom, Dad, and Bucky, I don’t know a single day without your unconditional love and support. ❤️ My family is the reason I’ve felt confident enough to take calculated career risks… the reason I’ve grown to view failure as a rich lesson and necessary stepping stone… & the reason I’ll always seek to live a meaningful life in service to others. …now, back to work! 😜‼️ 👉🏽Please take a moment to flip through South Bay Health and learn about some of our amazing local health institutions and individuals making their impact on our beautiful home. 6 months ‘til we say “I do!” With you, I am the healthiest version of me I’ve ever known.
