🙏🏻😎 #Repost @fanakapan · · · On April 4th this year @thetimes used an image that myself and @starfightera painted back in 2015 - in downtown L.A .
We have had a lot of action with this piece over the years so every now and then I like to update with cool shots and vids from other people.
The mural has been used in a number of films, in advertising and even the cover of a french novel.
If I remember correctly Teri Hatcher watched us paint it for a moment 🤔
(was drinking a lot of beer at the time so that might not have happened)
We used an angle grinder to age the metal and it can look very different depending on the time of day - a golden glow seems to appear on a sunset.
