✨Guadalajara, Mexico: This store draws inspiration from Jalisco’s vibrant, whimsical crafts that adorn the windows of local shops. The colorful ceiling garland created by a local group of women, “Colectiva Hilos”, honors local design traditions and celebrates the region’s colorful cultural identity.
🌊Seattle, Washington: Near the University of Washington is this stunning floor-to-ceiling mosaic. Created by Becca Fuhrman and translated by Tieton Mosaic, the artwork nods to the university’s rowing history and Starbucks heritage.
🌲Gana Art Park in Jangheung-myeon, South Korea: This café is like a living gallery! Created in partnership with Print Bakery, this store includes timber beams, a suspended branch sculpture, and immersive art installations.
🌿Bellevue, Washington: The vibrant coffee cherries on this mosaic by Kate Jessup pays tribute to coffee’s origin and is a reminder of the journey from bean to cup.
🎺 London, United Kingdom: This mural by Bristol artist Dave Bain captures Camden’s bold spirit. Punk icons, jazz musicians, and local life all woven together to reflect the heart of one of London’s most creative neighborhoods.
🐉 Phnom Penh, Cambodia: At the flagship store in Cambodia’s capital, a hand-painted mural by Peap Tarr and Lisa Mam brings the legend of Sovann Maccha to life, merging Khmer folklore and urban art as the siren princess transforms into twin Naga dragons.
🐆Providence, Guyana: In this four-piece wall mural by Guyanese artist Nigel “Nix” Butler places a jaguar, Guyana’s national animal, at the center of a lush rainforest scene.
🪵Chicago, Illinois - This hand-carved wood mural tells the story of coffee’s journey. Designed by Seattle’s Jesse LeDoux and carved by Chicago artist Paul Punke, it hangs beautifully in an intimate seating nook at the Starbucks Reserve bar.
🌳Bangkok, Thailand: The “Tree Top Canopy” comes to life with a ceiling installation by Ease Studio. The piece celebrates the biodiversity of coffee growing regions, connecting art, nature, and community in one space. #StarbucksStoreDesign

My latest project is complete. 🌱☕️
New interior mural for @starbucks , located at the fairmont hotel in Dallas, Texas. I would like to thank @starbucksartprogram for the opportunity and trust in my vision, special thanks to Tracey Green and everyone else who has been involved in making this artwork come to life.
Concept: This design incorporates the “ Bluebonnet “ in the center, which is the state flower of Texas. Surrounding the flower are abstract layers or leaves, vines and cherries that represents the Arabica coffee plant. Enjoy & much Aloha 🤙🏽

In addition to the hand-painted pieces in the collection, I designed this line of merchandise to celebrate Chicago as a symbol of togetherness, dreams, and inspiration. Together as a city we have the power to overcome challenges, creating something bigger than ourselves. This collection is a celebration of that collective energy bringing inspiration and positivity into the future. A mural recently completed in Watertown, MA for @starbucksartprogram ✨Summer is flying by!
Inspired by the nearby Charles River and the essence of Watertown, abstracted water shapes flow in the background, creating movement. The focal point are wild mayflowers sprinkled with silhouettes of black-capped chickadee birds, the state’s official flower and bird. The concept combines the idea of an urban garden, where lush flora blooms over water forms, overlapping with colorful patterns.
Grateful to Mario for assisting and documenting the process and to the store team for keeping us fully caffeinated throughout the installation! The project would not have been possible without the direction and guidance of the design team. Thank you!
