A lovely day @britishlibrary on the Introduction to Oral History course run with @oralhistorysociety and National Life Stories. Lots of practical advice and support as well as the chance to reflect on the power of stories. Followed by dinner with a dear pal. Much to think about on the train home. If I haven’t missed bedtime for the kids, it’ll be a pretty spot on day!
🍃 Take a closer look at our Wild Pages Writers Residency!
Back in November last year, we held a week-long artist development residency for emerging writers who have a connection to Suffolk.
💚 In collaboration with the National Centre for Writing and Suffolk Wildlife Trust, the residency offered a welcoming space for the selected writers to nurture their creative practice.
Thank you again to all our partners and our dreamy cohort of writers.
You can explore our residency opportunities at the link in our bio.

Such a lovely surprise to find out I’d won the @uniofsuffolk Student New Angle Prize for my writing. ‘Three Waterfront Sonnets’ has its roots in the Ipswich waterfront and talks about history, regeneration and being held. I’ll add a link to the SNAP website when it’s available.
Huge thanks to judge Rebecca Goss @gosspoems and the team @uosenglish for your inspiration and support.
🌸 Spring has officially sprung and we're marking the season with a love letter to walking by local writer @stanaruna .
📖 Aruna was part of our Wild Pages Writers Residency back in November 2025 where six talented local writers were invited to Felixstowe Library to explore the connection between nature and the written word.
You can take a metaphorical walk with Aruna at the link in our bio!
First time at @wolseywriters this morning for a creative writing session themed around Romeo & Juliet. Such a welcoming atmosphere, lots of creative prompts and permission to play. Some great audio clips of radio productions too, which brought new light. Looking forward to joining this lovely group again soon 🖊️ ☕️ 💕
At my desk for one last time this year. 2025 has been the one with all the change..big decisions, new beginnings. I’ve been lucky to have some amazing people in my corner. One recommended this book to me, and finding that I had credit and that it was in stock in my local bookshop I picked it up on Christmas Eve. The booksellers joked that it had been on their shelves for 3000+ days and they were worried it might be holding up the walls, but also very pleased it had found its reader. I hope that whatever you’ve been waiting for finds its way to you too. Happy New Year, I’ll be in bed with some sonnets 📖 x
Drawing the beautiful brain tonight with @_creativeclinic and @liz_atkin . Good opportunity to break out the ‘turbo glitter’ pens I thought! These drawing workshops are such a perfect blend of playfulness, curiosity and calm. Bringing creative outlets to healthcare workers is so important - love to see our community growing ✨
The most incredible, inspiring week with @suffolk_community_libraries@suffolkwildlifetrust@writerscentre on the Wild Pages writing residency. The most supportive library team and speakers imaginable, and the best peer group. Feeling so humbled and grateful to have had this experience and excited to get working on all the ideas I’ve got cooking…
A lovely evening with @_creativeclinic making autumnal art with tea and coffee ☕️ 🍂 Thank you to @liz_atkin for leading us in another wonderful evening of creative calm and thanks to all who joined us x
