Last month I performed a live set at the @over.flag exhibition.
I built a long, evolving soundscape from field recordings and generative systems, shaping textures, drones, and deconstructed rhythms.

“You hear the frequencies that travel in the void between two destinations.
A visceral and cathartic intuition that takes a person from one point to another, back and forth with no attempt to do so - A paradoxical flux.
Within this in-betweenness, the transition happens with no destination, although one exists.
In this unintentional and impromptu EP, Haxxa brings a purely experimental sonic odyssey, yet again breaking the boundaries of their own artistic framework.
Through a witty exploration of sentiments of transition, obsession and neuroticism, as well as an infrequent layering of 808 kickdrums, Haxxa’s
‘Liminality’ emerges as a cosmic throb conjuring a deep, soulful resonance that transcends any particular framework.”

We are happy to reveal our first release under
our duo project haxxa!
It's been a few years since we started making music
together and we finally felt the urge to share. Our EP, A
Scratch For Every Itch, is a compilation of songs
produced over this past summer and reflects our
inspirations and daily lives at the time.
The following narrative was written by our friend @vicmazz to introduce the EP.
"The foggy triangle room is the limbo.
The edges of the space connect the walls... walls that
clash against saturated sounds waving through the
euphoria and ... Pain? Relief? Necessity?
A project born out of an internal visceral response to
the influences and circumstances outside of the
triangle room.
As simple as enthusiasm... as intrinsic as two souls
coping and sharing the experience of sound.
An inevitable burst of noise going back to the roots of
very far away memories, which are now grounded in a
weird unexpected present.”
