“Motherhood is realizing your whole family slowly starts becoming little versions of you from the dress-down fits to the hand gestures, facial expressions, and dramatic reactions. 😂
This Mother’s Day, I’m officially tickled because somehow everybody showed up dressed like different editions of ME. One thing about my family… the influence is undeniable.
But beyond the laughs, motherhood has been one of my greatest assignments and greatest blessings. To be a Black queen, a Muva, a leader raising young Black queens with love, confidence, softness, strength, faith, and purpose is a legacy I carry with honor.
I am living life joyfully, one frame at a time. Through the highs and lows, the teachable moments, the prayers whispered in silence, the tears nobody sees, the victories celebrated loudly, and the unconditional love that holds us together through it all.
I pray my daughters always know they come from strength, beauty, resilience, grace, and deep love. That they never shrink themselves in this world. That they walk boldly, love deeply, and always remember who they are.
Motherhood may not always be easy, but it is sacred. And every moment even the imperfect ones becomes part of the beautiful story we are building together.

Coming from a strict Haitian household, I learned discipline, respect, structure and resilience.
But as a mother, I also learned that love can be firm and soft.
Protective and patient.
Guiding without breaking a spirit.
I’m not a “strict toxic”parent.
And I’m not a “gentle” parent either.
I’m a balanced parent.
Rooted in culture.
Led by love.
Growing right alongside my children.
And whew… nobody prepares you for the shift from my baby, my toddler
to almost-teenager.
This era right here?
It’s tender.
It’s emotional.
It’s eye-opening.
It’s exhausting
It’s beautiful / layered / complex in a whole new way.
The questions get deeper.
The independence gets louder.
The hugs feel different.
But the love?
Still just as strong.

Some days remind you why you love what you do.
My flash photography workshop began as a carefully planned editorial experience and unfolded into something even more meaningful. Snow slowed the day, but it didn’t stop the energy, the curiosity or the creativity in the room.
We explored light not just as a technical tool, but as a way to shape feeling.
We created an editorial inspired by the New Year’s Eve bride; bold, expressive & fully present. A bride who dresses for herself & understands that midnight is an invitation to show up with confidence.
What I love most about editorial work is the freedom it creates.
Space to explore ideas, refine vision, and inspire without pressure. Not every bride will recreate a full look, but she might borrow a detail, a mood or the confidence to choose something that feels true to her.
Grateful for everyone who showed up, leaned in & helped bring this vision to life.
