Overnight, she became an amazing mother. Her mother’s intuition is one that only makes sense for her, one that Luca is extremely blessed to have. I really like this lady. So blessed to call her my wife. Love ya LOML ❤️

Got to test the legs last week at @norcal.cycling ‘a local practice crit and had a blast. Body’s feeling good and so is the bike! Got confused on the lap count but finished off a Top10 in a spicy field. The new @oakracing Twilight Team Edition (coming soon) got catcalled on a bunch and is ripping it better than ever thanks to the fit from @ingruppetto

2024 was the year we met Luca. It was awesome. But life is not a social media so yes it was hard. And we probably made it harder than it had to be by taking him to 4 countries by 6 months old, starting new companies, racing bikes all the time, waiting too long to look into daycare, blah blah blah. At the end of the day it was, and has been, our own journey through it. I wouldn’t change a thing. And every time new parents ask me about our experience, the last thing I will say is “oh boy”, “you’ll never be ready”, “it’s the hardest thing you’ll ever do”… Yes all those things are true but every time I heard that, it felt so negative, and this is the most positive experience in life—raising a life!! To all parents out there, please encourage each other, offer to help, be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on even. No one needs another person telling them how hard life is or will be, that does NOT help. One of my biggest takeaways for parenthood so far has been to judge others, and especially parents, less. Each parent’s journey is SO different, because it HAS to be. One thing I know for sure is that if you love and feed your child, they’ll turn out great, everything else is circumstantial and can be learnt or figured out. Anyways, sorry to veer off from the cycling content but I love my son and his mother so much that I had to close the year, on social media, like that. So, Happy New Year and Feliz Ano Novo to all! More bikes soon 😉

I chose to use the Blazar Remus’ specifically because of the character that they have. There is so much texture I get with these lenses and I want people to also FEEL the texture when watching this Ad. Pre-season training is going well. Got the opportunity to stretch the legs a couple weeks in and I’m happy to report that the numbers are back to what they were at the end of last season, meaning that now we build. 9 weeks to @vosstagerace A couple more weeks out here in the heat, maybe another race or two, before heading back home to the trainer before the first training camp of the season with the @ultrapass.devo boys in January. — As far as racing in the UAE, it’s as good as ever. The lack of corners, teammates and the Scratch format are a bit of a disadvantage to me, which is great, for some pre-season efforts. On Thursday I raced the third of the 6-race, $25k prize purse, Falcon Daman Series. I was put in the scratch group, which had me on the ropes a few times. Was able to stick with the group to finish 12th out of 71, in a big field sprint. Then Yesterday I hopped on the local IHC Community Race, in which I had to play a bit more of an aggressive role. Having gotten in a couple breaks, and covered so many others, I missed the one that got away… (I won’t get too much into blaming people that weren’t in the race, messing with it, but that did happen…). Rode with @maddyblack_ & Majid to the end where we finished with a friendly, long sprint. 5th out of 67 on the day for me, 1st in the age-group and 4 spots away from a new Apple Watch 😅 That’s it for the race report you didn’t ask for. Inspired by @amansek as I start preparing for my second DET season, and to keep myself accountable. I’d love to share some of my cycling “nerdy” goals for 2025. Power goals: 1450w for 5 seconds 650w for 1 minute 380w for 5 minutes 330w for 20 minutes Strava segments and results: Sub-70 minutes Bogus Basin Top30 at an ACC Crit For reference, I’m starting my pre-season at 69kg and plan to be racing closer to the 65kg mark.
